ORDER

This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Revenue Assistant Grade-II by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2019 in the light of the direction given by the 3rd respondent to the 4th respondent with all consequential benefits.

2. Though this writ petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus to issue positive directions, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2019, within a time stipulated by this Court.

3. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
