ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner by insisting him upon his furnishing a bond with sureties for good behaviour.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is involved in 6 previous cases and he has been classified as a History Sheeter in H.S.No.1 of 2026.

3. This Court is of the view that calling upon the petitioner to execute a bond for maintaining peace and tranquillity, cannot be construed as harassment. In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition.
