Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta for the petitioner's property bearing Survey No.314/1 measuring to an extent of 2000 Sq.fts situated at Acharapakam Village, No.26, malai Nagar, Acharapakkam, Madhuranthagam (Taluk), Kancheepuram District - 603 301 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2015.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims she is the owner of the house-site admeasuring to an extent of 2000 sq.fts. in Survey No.314/1 situated at Acharapakam Village, Malai Nagar, Acharapakkam, Madhuranthagam Taluk, Kancheepuram District and is in possession and enjoyment of the same for over fifty years. The petitioner would further state that there was already a superstructure on the said land and after demolition, she wants to construct a new structure and in this regard when she approached the concerned authority for planning permission, she was instructed to get patta and immediately, the petitioner submitted an application in September, 2014 and also sent a reminder to the higher officials and the first respondent/the District https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Collector, Kancheepuram District has also forwarded the same to the second respondent vide memo in Na.Ka.No.2414/2015/Aa3 dated 15.04.2015 for appropriate direction and inspite of it, the second respondent did not take any action and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the facts and circumstances, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2015 in accordance with law and after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
