Respondent Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the impugned Notice in Na.Ka.No.4260/2012/A1, dated 29.08.2012 issued by the respondent with respect to pay the Service Tax and quash the same.

Heard Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Standing counsel for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
2. This writ petition has been filed challenging imposition of Service Tax by the respondent Municipality.
3. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing counsel for the respondent that the issue of imposing Service Tax is now pending before the Central Excise Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT).
4. The learned Standing counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent Municipality is ready to make a fresh demand depending upon the order to be passed by CESTAT and this writ petition can been disposed of with liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.Considering the above facts and submissions, this writ petition is closed, with liberty. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
