Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 31.10.2014 made in Ka.En.se po/E pa/Tha ru/tho Nu vu 2/ko. se. po. Petition No.212/ 2014 passed by the second respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondents 4 to 8 in accordance with law and to file the action taken status report before this Court.

O R D E R
The second petitioner, relying on the order dated 31.10.2014 communicated to the first petitioner, made submission that the Subordinate Officials of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board have involved in an illegal activity and abated the offence of theft along with other persons.
2. The petitioners have instituted criminal proceedings, which is pending. However, the petitioners state that the respondents 1 to 3 have not taken any action against the Subordinate Officials, who have involved in the offence of theft of energy.

This being the submission made, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry with reference to the complaint given by the first petitioner and find out the involvement of the Subordinate Officials of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and if any such involvement is established, then all appropriate actions are to be initiated by following the procedures contemplated under Law and under the relevant Rules. The second respondent shall complete the said exercise within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are at liberty to produce all the relevant documents and further representations, if any, to the second respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
