Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of declaration, declaring that the action of the Respondent Bank in not providing alternative branch for the petitioner to work or transferring / deputing the petitioner to Madipakkam Branch, where one of the employee by name Mr.Sridhar working in Madipakkam Branch had given option to get transfer to Athipet Branch or to any other Branch in Chennai or in alternative not treating the period of lockdown prohibiting public transport as one on duty, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondents to provide work to the petitioner in any of the Branches in Chennai by transfer / deputation and pay the salary to the petitioner from June 2020 onwards and continue to pay salary every month to the petitioner.
