O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to obey the order of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, made in Crl.M.P.No.4855 of 2017, dated 15.12.2017 forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C pending before the respondent.

4. It is seen that the complaint has been filed by the petitioner before the respondents police and on receipt of the same they have not taken any steps. Thereafter, the petitioner approached the Court below, the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, has passed a positive direction to the petitioner. Hence, the present petition.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents to register the case as directed by the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.4855 of 2017 by an order dated 15.12.2017, forthwith.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
