Respondent (Crime No.261/2015) PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Perambalur to consider the bail application of the petitioners herein on the same day itself on accepting their surrender of the petitioners herein before him concerned in Crime No.261 of 2015 on the file of the Arumbavur Police Station, Perambalur District.

O R D E R
The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Perambalur to consider the bail application filed by the petitioners in connection with the Crime No.261 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Arumbavur Police Station, Perambalur on their surrender on the same day.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners also submitted that the petitioners have been implicated in this case for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 294[b], 506[i], 435 IPC r/w Section 3[2][V] of the SC/ST [Prevention of Atrocities Act] and Section 3 of the PPD Act. In view of the specific bar under Section 18 of the said Act, the petitioners cannot move any anticipatory bail https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
application and therefore, the petitioners have come forward with the said prayer.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners voluntarily came forward to deposit Rs.50,000/- in order to show their bona fide.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] for the respondent.
5. Considering the submissions of both sides and also considering the nature of the prayer in this case and in view of the specific bar under Section 18 of the S.C. & S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities) Act; that the petitioners voluntarily undertook to deposit Rs.50,000/- and that the petitioners cannot move any anticipatory bail, the following order is passed: [a].
the petitioners are directed to deposit Rs.50,000/- [Rupees Fifty Thousand Only] to the credit of Crime No.261 of 2015 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Perambalur.
[b]. On such deposit being made, the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Perambalur, is directed to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioners and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law on the same day, of their surrender.
6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
