Defendant Civil Suit filed under Order VII Rule 1 CPC read with Order IV Rule 1 of Madras High Court Original Side Rules 1956 read with praying for the following judgment and decree against the defendants. a) directing the defendant to pay the plaintiff the sum of Rs.1,07,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Seven Lakhs Only) being the Principal amount.

b) To pay costs of the suit For Plaintiff : Mr.R.Kamaraj For Defendant : Mr.G.Gopalakrishnan 1/3

JUDGMENT

The plaintiff and the defendant are present. The plaintiff and defendant filed a memo of compromise dated 20.11.2023, wherein, the defendant has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.96,00,000/- to the plaintiff within a six months, for failure to pay such amount, he shall execute a sale deed in favour of the plaintiff. Besides, he has also agreed to pay interest in the event of delay. The said memo of compromise is recorded and accordingly, this suit is decreed in terms of memo of compromise dated 20.11.2023 entered into between the parties.

2. The registry is directed to refund the Court Fee as per Law to the plaintiff. The Memorandum of Compromise dated 20.11.2023 entered into between the parties form part of the decree. Consequently, the connected application is closed.
