This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 10.07.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint dated 10.07.2016 lodged by the petitioner against his brother, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.373 of 2016 before the respondent.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the enquiry by calling both the parties and take action in accordance with law, either register an FIR or close the case, under due intimation to the petitioner.
