Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 15.05.2022 in C3/D.O.No.64/2022 against the petitioner's son Kumaran S/o.Thiruvenkadam, aged 29 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty. [Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Kumaran S/o.Thiruvenkadam, aged 29 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in C3/D.O.No.64/2022 dated 15.05.2022, holding him to be a "Drug Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in C3/D.O.No.64/2022 dated 15.05.2022, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3949, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 01.07.2022 and produced a copy of the said order. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
