ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.270 of 2016 and to file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.270 of 2016 has been registered against Sundar, the second respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

herein, for the offences under Section 468, 471 and 420 IPC and is being investigated by the respondent police.

4. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegation, this Court cannot give a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time period. However, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and either file a charge sheet or close the case under due intimation to the de facto complainant.

In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
