The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to take appropriate legal action to give police protection for M/s.Kovai Tiribhuvan Social Welfare Club at No.7 Kuberapuri, Narasipuram Road, Thondamuthur, Coimbatore-641 109, on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is running a society in the name and style of M/s.Kovai Tiribhuvan Social Welfare Club at No.7 Kuberapuri, Narasipuram Road, Thondamuthur, Coimbatore-641 109. Due to the continuous interference and disturbance from the anti social elements, petitioner gave a representation on 21.03.2023 to the respondents seeking police protection. However, respondents have not taken any effective steps, necessitating filing of this petition.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that representation given by the petitioner is available and necessary orders would be passed in due course.
4. In view of the aforesaid submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits of this Writ Petition, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry on the representation made by the petitioner, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner and dispose the same within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
