dated 16.09.2013 and take appropriate action to rectifying the revenue records maintained by the respondents with regard to the petitioner's property.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner would state that his father Thiru.C.Pachaiyappa Reddy, died on 07.10.2009, leaving behind his wife, 4 sons and 2 daughters, which include the petitioner herein also and they are in joint possession and enjoyment of the landed properties comprised in S.No.515/31, admeasuring to an extent of 42 cents and S.No.39/2 admeasuring to an extent of 38 cents bearing Patta No.455, situated at Konimedu hamlet, Pammadukkulam Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District. It is further stated by the petitioner that when he approached the jurisdictional Village Administrative Officer, in order to pay the statutory levies, he was informed that the land comprised in S.No.515/31, admeasuring to an extent of 42 cents, has been wrongly transpired in Patta bearing No.10, in the name of one V.Annamalai, S/o.

Velu Reddy, without any documentary evidence. In this regard, the petitioner has repeatedly approached the 1st respondent to rectify the said mistake and since no response is forthcoming, he came forward to file the present writ petition. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents to and Mr.T.D.K.Govindarajan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 6 and 9 to 15.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the 1st respondent along with a copy of this order as well as the copies of the earlier representations within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law, after putting on notice

the private respondents herein, viz., respondents 4 to 6 and 9 to 15 and pass orders within a further period of ten weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the private respondents.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
