This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent Police to investigate the matter and to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 27.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, the complaint dated 27.06.2016 given by the petitioner against her husband has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for enquiry and report. It is further represented that, after receipt of the report from the Social Welfare Officer, appropriate action shall be taken.

4. Recording the same, this petition is closed, with a direction to the respondents to act in accordance with law on the report of the Social Welfare Officer.
