Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records relating to the petitioner's son's detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order dated 19.04.2022 on the file of second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo No.81/BCDFGISSSV/2022, quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son namely Raaghu @ Raghavendra s/o.Sekar, aged 21 years, before this Court and set him at liberty, now detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, For Petitioner :

[Made by RMT. TEEKAA RAMAN, J.] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Raaghu @ Raghavendra s/o.Sekar, aged 21 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in No.81/BCDFGISSSV/2022 dated 19.04.2022, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in No.81/BCDFGISSSV/2022 dated 19.04.2022, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3255, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 30.05.2022 and produced a copy of the said order. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
