This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2391 of 2024 pending on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) that the trial, in C.C.No.2391 of 2024 pending on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai, has already been commenced.

4. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The Trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of
