ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents and in particular, the 1 st respondent to register and release the pending document No.P172/1989.

2.Heard Mr.K.S.Ilangovan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 3 rd respondent.

3.It is seen from records that based on the representation made by the petitioner, already a communication has been issued to the District Registrar to feed the input into the system and to regularize the Sale Deed dated 07.08.1989.

3/5 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the document has been kept as a pending document for a very long period of time and a communication has already been made to the nd respondent in this regard, there shall be a direction to the 1 st and 2 nd respondents to ensure that the document is properly registered and released to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
