(The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.04.2021 for grant of patta and pass suitable orders.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he has filed an application before the respondent to issue patta based on the order passed by this Court in TOS No.73/2013 dated 30.01.2018, which was confirmed by the Division Bench of this Court in OSA No.19 of 2019 dated 17.02.2020. Even though the application was filed on 22.04.2021, so far, his application was not considered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and no order has been passed on it. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. Mr.Y. Deva Arul Prakash, learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that, his application is pending for a long time. Hence, the respondent may be directed to consider petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits within a time frame to be fixed by this court.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
