This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case and investigate the same based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 06.05.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it is seen that this petitioner and others had joined into a partnership venture in a finance business and now it is alleged by the petitioner that the Managing Partner has not rendered proper accounts and cheated the other partners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The complaint essentially appears to be civil in nature and therefore no positive direction can be issued to Police to conduct investigation. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
