TERMS OF SETTLEMENT This Criminal Revision Petition have been filed to call for the records and set aside the judgment dated 30.01.2023 in C.A.No.370 of 2019 on the file of the V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, confirming the judgment of conviction and sentence dated 25.10.2019 made in C.C.No.123 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.6, Coimbatore and acquit the revision petitioner.

2. The parties, namely the respondent and the petitioner are present before the Lok Adalat. The respondent is represented by her counsel. Even though the cheque amount was Rs.4,50,000/-, the parties have agreed to settle the dispute for a full and final settlement at a sum of Rs.3,50,000/-, of which, the complainant/respondent has accepted to have received a sum of Rs.2,37,500/-.

3. It has been submitted by the petitioner/accused that the balance sum of Rs.1,12,500/- had been deposited to the credit of C.C.No.123 of 2017 before the Court below, pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.6913 of 2023 in Crl.R.C.No.874 of 2023.

4. The respondent/complainant is permitted to withdraw the said amount, lying in the credit of C.C.No.123 of 2017 and is also entitled to any interest, if had accrued to the sum.

5. Recording the above agreement between the parties, this Criminal Revision Petition is disposed of in terms of the above settlement. No cost. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
