(ALL WOMEN POLICE STATION, SOUTH TIRUPPUR) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL.A.No.586 of 2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the execution of sentence in Spl.S.C.No.24 of 2015 dated 27.08.2015 by the learned Magalir Neethi Mandram (Fast Track Mahila Court), Tiruppur and enlarge the petitioner on bail till the disposal of the Crl.A.No.586 of 2018 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL.A.No.586 of 2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.M.BALAJI, Advocate for the petitioner, and of MR.R.PRATHAP KUMAR Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- [Order of the Court was made by M.

SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] This Court, while dismissing the earlier application filed for suspension of sentence on 14.02.2019, had directed the Registry to list the main criminal appeal for final hearing on 28.03.2019 and accordingly, it was listed. However, due to paucity of time, this Court is unable to take up the criminal appeal for final disposal. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

Since the earlier petition seeking suspension of substantive sentence of imprisonment came to be dismissed considering the nature and gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. The Registry is directed to list the criminal appeal for final hearing on 13.06.2019.
