Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to register the case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 20.03.2021.

ORDER

The petitioner lodged a complaint against "Muthra Jewellers" by stating that they have collected money from him and cheated.

2.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that a case in Crime No.2 of 2021 was registered for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and Section 5 of TNPID, Act. The case was registered against A1/Murugavel and A2/Kalaivani, wife of A1. The investigation is under progress. The petitioner's complaint is similar in nature. The petitioner is also one of the subscribers in the Jewellery scheme as that of the above said case.

3.In view of the same, the respondents/police are directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 20.03.2021 and treat him as a witnesses, since already 14 complaints have received in this regard. The petitioner has to be taken as witness and to examine in Crime No.2 of 2021. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above observations and directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
