ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report filed against the petitioner in Crime No.464 of 2015.

2. Heard, Mr.T.Sreenivasan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. It is seen that on a complaint given by this petitioner, a case in Crime No.463 of 2015 has been registered on 25.07.2015. Similarly, on a complaint given by the opposite party, a case in Crime No.464 of 2015 has been registered against this petitioner for offences under Sections 294(b), 355 and 506(i) I.P.C. Since this is a case in counter and offences have been registered only very recently, this Court cannot quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.464 of 2015. Since the offence in Crime No.463 of 2015 is investigated by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, this Court directs the same Deputy Superintendent of Police to conduct the investigation in Crime No.464 of 2015 also.
