ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Amizhdhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.Veena Suresh, learned counsel for respondent No.1.

2. The case of the petitioner is that respondent Nos.2 and 3 have put up illegal structure without any valid permission at Door No.65, 6 and 67, New Door No.137, 138 and 139, Mundakanni Amman Koil Street, Mylapore, Chennai-4. Being aggrieved by the said fact, the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 12.06.2018 to respondent No.1, wherein he has prayed that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appropriate action be taken in relation to the said illegal structure. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that he is restricting his prayer to his representation being considered expeditiously.

3. The learned counsel for respondent No.1 states that they will consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2018 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to respondent Nos.2 and 3. The said statement of the learned counsel for respondent No.1 is taken on record.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of matter, we direct respondent No.1 i.e., the Member Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, Chennai-600 008, to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2018, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to respondent Nos.2 and 3.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.24390 of 2019 is closed.
