O R D E R

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 323, 324 & 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No. not known of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the de facto complainants is that there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioners and the de facto complainants and due to which the petitioners assaulted the de facto complainants with wooden log and thereby, causing injuries to the de facto complainants. Hence, the complaint.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are innocent and false complaint has been foisted against them. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner there was wordy quarrel between the petitioners and the de facto complainants and due to which the petitioners assaulted the de facto complainants with wood log causing injuries. He would further submit that the injured persons are still in hospital. Therefore, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the fact that the injured are still in hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners and accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
