O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.407 of 2013 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the petitioners and the second respondent/defacto complainant appeared in person and their identification is also verified by this Court.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent filed a memo of compromise dated 14.09.2015 stating that the entire family dispute has been settled and hence, the 2nd respondent/wife rejoins with her husband. They further submitted that the parties have also entered into a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

compromise in HMOP No.343 of 2013 on the file of the learned Principal Family Judge, Chennai and the second respondent also agreed to quash the above said case in S.C.No.407 of 2013 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.

4.Considering the nature of allegation and also considering the memo of compromise filed by the petitioners and the second respondent, the proceedings in S.C.No.407 of 2013 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, in respect of the petitioners, is hereby quashed and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed accordingly.
