Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of petitioner representation dated 10.03.2014.

ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction directing the respondents to dispose of the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 10.03.2014.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that the petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the Education Department and on completion of ten years of service in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher, Selection Grade was awarded with effect from 01.06.1984. Further, the Special Grade pay in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher was also awarded to the writ petitioner with effect from 01.06.1994. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the revision of pay in the Special Grade has not been granted in accordance with the Government Orders in force. Thus, he made a representation to the respondents on 10.03.2014 and the same is yet to be considered.

3. Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 10.03.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copy of the representation along with the orders passed in this writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
