ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition by way of public interest litigation has been filed seeking orders directing the first respondent to take appropriate action on the representation dated 13.1.2018.
2. In effect and substance, the petitioner has sought directions on the respondent authorities to take action against those employees of the Transport Corporations, who had gone on strike and further to recover losses caused by their strike from the concerned employees.
3. Whether action should be taken against any employee or whether losses caused to an employer should be recovered from the employees are service matters in respect of which public interest litigation cannot be entertained. The public interest litigation is misconceived and the same is not entertained.
4. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, WMP.No.2870 of 2018 is closed.
