The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a connected Writ Petition in W.P.No.2795 of 2024, which challenges the punishment imposed on the petitioner (removal from service). 2/5
2. However, the instant writ petition has been filed against the impugned order dated 20.10.1998 which is altogether a different charge, wherein, the petitioner was imposed a punishment of withholding increments for a period of two years with cumulative effect. It is apparent on the face of the record that the order is of the year 1998 and the same was confirmed on 20.10.1998.
3. In view of long delay and latches, at this length of time, this Court do not find any ground to interfere the same.
4. In the result, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 03.06.2025 jas Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order 3/5
