The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2022.

2. The petitioner states that he is an agriculturist and filing the writ petition on his behalf as well as on behalf of the other farmers of the village.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the land belongs to the Government is being utilised for the purpose of producing the crops by the farmers of that locality. The land has been utilised as "Kalam (fsk;) " for many years and now the respondents are initiating action to utilise the land for some other purpose.

4. Admittedly the subject land belongs to the Government. The petitioner and some other farmers are using the Government land for agricultural purposes. The Court cannot interfere with the Policy decision if any taken by the Government to utilise the land for public purposes. If at all the petitioner is using the land for agricultural purpose along with other 2/4

villagers, it is for them to approach the Government for the purpose of redressing their grievances. However, the Court cannot issue any direction to consider their case or otherwise. It is the policy decision to be taken by the Government to utilise the Government land in a particular manner. That apart, the grievances as raised by the petitioner is common in nature and thus the writ petition filed before this Court is not entertainable.

5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
