ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to disburse the belated payment of Provident Fund, Gratuity, Commutation and leave salary amounts with effect from 01.07.2011 within the stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner retired from service on 30.06.2011. All the retiral benefits were settled on the petitioner on 30.12.2013. Therefore, seeking interest for the belated payment, he made a representation on 01.04.2024. Since there is no positive response, he has approached this Court.

3. Normally, for the belated payment of the retiral benefits, this Court allows interest at the rate of 6% per annum, but, in this case, the petitioner retired as early as in the year 2011 and his benefits were settled in the year 2/4

2013 and he has accepted the same and now, a stale claim is made concerning the interest.
