ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to consider petitioner's representation and dispose them within reasonable time by imposing penalty contemplated under Section 20(1) and also take disciplinary action contemplated under Section 20(2) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 against the erring officials.
2. Mr.C.Vigneswaran, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.
3. The petitioner as a Journalist and as a President of political party who actively involve in activities relating to the public has made several applications to the concerned Information Officers seeking certain information under the Right to Information Act, 2005, of which, the last application was made on 06.01.2023. However, till date there is no response from the officers concerned. Hence, this Writ Petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.01.2023 made by the petitioner seeking certain information under the RTI Act and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
6. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the application dated 06.01.2023 made by petitioner seeking certain information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
