O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate in respect of a missing document.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before the Court.

3. The petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in Survey No. 261/1, RS No. 43/1, situated in Coonoor Rural Village. This property was purchased by the petitioner's mother through a registered sale deed dated 30.05.2011, vide Document No. 952/2011. Subsequently, the said property was sold to one GP. Capt. K. Ramji under a registered document dated 21.10.2024, vide Document No. 2588/2024. However, the petitioner was unable to hand over the original parent document as it had gone missing. Consequently, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the third respondent, following which a CSR was issued. Despite this, the

original document has not been traced, and the third respondent has yet to issue the Non-Traceable Certificate. The first respondent had, in this regard, issued a circular in Rc. No. 2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022.

In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to issue the Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with respect to the complaint lodged on 20.11.2024, in accordance with the circular issued by the first respondent in Rc. No. 2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. The same shall be issued within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
