JUDGMENT

This criminal appeal has been directed against the conviction and sentence passed in Sessions Case No.67 of 2007 by the Mahila Court, Perambalur. During the pendency of the same, the soleaccused by name Govindasamy has passed away and to that effect death certificate has been filed. Since the sole appellant has passed away during the pendency of the present criminal appeal, the charge against him has become abated and therefore, this appeal has become infructuous.
