The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report on First Information Report No.289 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter was taken up on 27.10.2015, there was no representation for the petitioner and the same was posted today. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in Crime No.289 of 2013 was already investigated by the respondent police and the same was referred as 'mistake of fact'.

4. Recording the submission made the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to the effect that the case in Crime No.289 of 2013 was investigated by the respondent police and the same was referred as 'mistake of fact', the criminal original petition is dismissed.
