.. Respondents Prayer:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or order to direction directing the first respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 1.9.2019 consequently direct the first respondent to include the said period for calculation of pension alongwith @ 12% interest to the delayed arrears of gratuity and pass such other or further orders.

O R D E R

The petitioners filed the Writ Petition seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 1.9.2019 consequently direct the first respondent to include the said period for calculation of pension alongwith @ 12% interest to the delayed arrears of gratuity

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners made a representation on 1.9.2019 to the first respondent seeking interest for the difference of gratutity amount paid to them, but till date their representation are not considered by the first respondent. Hence the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that it would be suffice to issue direction the the first respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 1.09.2019 submitted by the petitioners on merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time.

4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel 2/3

for the petitioners, I am inclined to issue direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the representation dated 01.09.2019 submitted by the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
