ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction to the 2nd respondent in the form of writ of mandamus directing him to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2018 requesting to acquire the petitioner's land permanently and pay appropriate compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act (Central Act 30 of 2013).

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he made a representation on 07.07.2018 to the respondents seeking for permanent acquisition of his land, no order is forthcoming from the respondents. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Earlier, this court by order dated 31.08.2018 ordered notice to the respondents. Today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that already the 2nd respondent has considered the representation of the petitioner and passed orders thereof on 03.10.2018. Further, according to him, a copy of the order has also been dispatched to the petitioner immediately by post.

4. Recording the statement made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed as nothing survives for further adjudication. No costs.
