ORDER
This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent herein to dispose of the appeal dated 3.04.2023 sent by the petitioner herein to cancel the patta bearing No. 223 issued in the name of the 3rd respondent herein for the lands pertaining to the petitioner and his family in SF.No.155/3B, situated at Avanavadi Village, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the property, however, patta has been issued in the name of the third respondent. Hence, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 03.04.2023 and the same is pending without consideration. Therefore, this writ petition.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and perused the materials available on record.
4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this 2/4
Court without going into the merits of the case directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 03.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to third respondent as well as any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
