ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2024 and issue patta in petitioner's name with regard to the properties comprised in Old Survey No.166, Present SurveyNo.59/7 measuring an extent of 0.70 cents in Manjakuli Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District and to do necessary mutation in the revenue records of Chitta, A.register and Adangal.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property has been allotted to the petitioner in a family partition. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondent for issuance of patta in his name. However, 2/4
the same has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going to the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2024 and pass Orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
