2. The petitioners have come up with these writ petitions to direct the respondent to provide domestic electricity service connection to the house of the petitioners on the basis of the petitioners' applications dated 15.02.2018 and 20.02.2018.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners have submitted the applications dated 15.02.2018 and 20.02.2018, to the respondent, claiming the same relief as prayed in these writ petitions, but, the said applications are yet to be disposed of by the respondent.

4. Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned Standing Counsel taking notice for the respondent, submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' applications dated 15.02.2018 and 20.02.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioners' applications dated 15.02.2018 and 20.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
