Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2017 and disburse the revised scale of pay from * 01.01.2006 pending dues, and pensionary benefits to the petitioner within stipulated period as that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 09.08.2017 with regard to the disbursement of the revised scale of pay with effect from * 01.01.2006 and further to pay the pending dues and pensionary benefits to the writ petitioner.

2.The writ petitioner was working as a Secondary Grade Teacher at Government Elementary School, Akkaraivalavapatti Panchayat Union. The respondents have not redressed his grievances regarding the revised scale of pay. However, the writ petitioner has submitted a representation on 09.08.2017 to the second respondent and the same is yet to be considered. 3.Thus without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 09.08.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
