ORDER

This writ petition is heard through Video-Conferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

2. By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner, who is an advocate by profession, has filed this writ petition challenging the Notification in G.O.Ms.No.396 dated 31.07.2020, Revenue and Disaster Management (D.M.II) Department issued by the respondent extending the state-wide lock down till 24.00 hrs. of 31.08.2020 with the existing restrictions including the EPass system stating that E-pass system will continue to be in force for both inter state and inter district travel. Even as indicated in the G.O., it is valid only till 31.08.2020 and admittedly, the subsequent G.O. has already been issued by the Government, which also is said to have cleared those restrictions with respect to E-pass.

4. As the G.O. Challenged by the petitioner is only a time bound one and the time is over, there is nothing to adjudicate on the same and the same is dismissed as infructuous. If the petitioner is so aggrieved by the subsequent G.O. issued by the Government, it is open to him to challenge the same, in the manner known to law. No Costs.
