.. Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent and second respondents to permit the petitioner to report to work as Shop Supervisor in TASMAC Shop No.1636 at Coimbatore.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking a Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to report to work as Shop Supervisor in TASMAC Shop No.1636 at Coimbatore.

2. Since the petitioner was transferred by order dated 22.6.2015 from Shop No.1636 to Shop No.1558, citing the reason that his transfer order was passed on the basis of his request, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

he has come up before this Court with this writ petition saying that he had not given any such request for his transfer. However, the Senior Regional Manager, Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Ltd., (TASMAC), considering the case of the petitioner, passed an order on 17.7.2015, posting the petitioner in Shop No.1636 in the same place. But, he was not permitted to join duty.

3. Subsequently, after filing the writ petition, he was accommodated in Shop No.1501 in the same area and he was also paid with the regular monthly salary. Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed by the respondents, the writ petition becomes infructuous. Therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
