THE SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE, VILLUPURAM DISTRICT, VILLUPURAM CRIME NO.8 OF 2022 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to pass an order to extend the time to surrender before the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, at Tindivanam, imposed in the Order of this Hon'ble Court dt 21.04.2022 in Crl.OP.No.8608/2022, by a further period of 2 weeks and thus render justice.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.V.S.GOPU, Advocate for the petitioner and of The public prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8608 of 2022, dated 21.04.2022, for surrender and execute the sureties.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that due to delay in getting the order copy, the petitioner could not able to furnish the sureties within the stipulated time. Hence, he prays to extend the time.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner could not able to furnish the sureties within the stipulated time, this petition is ordered and the time for executing the sureties is extended finally by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
