The learned counsel for both sides submitted that this is a suit filed for recovery of a sum of Rs.61,87,500/-. Therefore, it is submitted that pursuant to the revision in the pecuniary jurisdiction of the City Civil Court, this suit should be transferred to the City Civil Court.

2. On examining the relief requested in the plaint, I find that the contentions of the learned counsel are correct and the value of the suit is below Rs.1 Crore.

3. Accordingly, it is directed that the suit be transferred to the file of the City Civil Court, Chennai.
