O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the official respondents to proceed with the application

submitted by the writ petitioner on 28.06.2019 and 14.05.2022 filed under Section 17(a) of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, in accordance with law. 2.The grievance of the writ petitioner is that, in order to survey the land belongs to the petitioner, he submitted an application on 28.06.2019 and on 14.05.2022 under Section 17(a) of the Act in a prescribed format and by paying the necessary fees. Inspite of the compliance, the respondents have not initiated any action.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, made a submission that action has already been taken in respect of the applications submitted by the writ petitioner and some more time is required to complete the survey by following the procedures as contemplated. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the respondents are directed to consider the applications submitted by the writ petitioner and take all necessary steps to survey the land belongs to the writ petitioner by following the procedures as contemplated under the Act and Rules, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
