..Contemnor(s) Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for Contempt of Court for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.No.36975 of 2025 dated 28.10.2025.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 28.10.2025, passed by this Court in W.P.No.36975 of 2025, thereby directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of the order passed in W.P.Nos.21349 of 2023 etc., batch dated 03.08.2023, as the benefits have been extended to similarly placed persons, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondents considered the case of the petitioners representation and sent necessary proposal to the government and it is pending.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed. However, the first respondent is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this Order.
