The writ petition has been filed to quash the order of the 2 nd respondent dated 20.06.2013 and direct the 2nd respondent to grant recognition to the petitioner school by considering their application dated 03.05.2013.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner school submitted an application dated 03.05.2013, seeking renewal of recognition, which came to be rejected by the impugned order, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the ground that W.P.No.13729 of 2012 filed by one D.Manickarajan is pending. Hence, this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition in W.P.No.13729 of 2012 was dismissed as withdrawn on 18.07.2017 and hence, appropriate direction may be issued to the respondents for considering the claim of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law. 4.In view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to issue a direction to the respondents. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the issue afresh with regard to the claim of the petitioner, seeking renewal of recognition and pass appropriate orders on merits and as per law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner within the period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
