(CRIME NO.164/2021) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extent the time granted by this Hon`ble Court by another two weeks in the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.12355/2021 dated 16.07.2021 on the file Hon`ble Court.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. T.MURUGANANTHAM, Advocate for the petitioner, and of M/S.N.MUTHUVEL, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted to the petitioners on 16.07.2021 in Crl.O.P.No.12355 of 2021 to execute bail bonds.

2. Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of Covid -19 Pandamic, the petitioners could not furnish the sureties. He further submits that the petitioners, in order to show their bonafide, are prepared to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- to any organisation as directed by this Court and prays for extending the time limit. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the petitioners' willingness to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- to any public organisation, this petition is ordered on condition that the petitioners shall pay a sum of Rs.5000/- in favour of Government Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College and Hospital, Arignar Anna Government Hospital of Indian Medicine Campus, Arumbakkam, Near Anna Arch, Chennai - 600 106, and produce the receipt/acknowledgement before the learned Magistrate. The amount paid by the petitioners shall be utilized by the Medical College & Hospital for research activities in Naturopathy. Subject to the aforesaid conditions, the petitioners are directed to surrender and execute the sureties as ordered by this Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the order passed by this Court shall stand automatically cancelled.
